Autoterm water level heaters, also called water heaters, are independent, diesel or gasoline powered heating systems that can be easily and conveniently installed or retrofitted to your vehicle. Typically, the heater is connected to your vehicle's cooling system or (inboats, RVs, trucks) to the central heating system.
A water level heater is supplied with fresh air from the outside, which is drawn in through an air intake tube and directed into a combustion chamber. The intake air is then mixed with fuel supplied by a fuel metering pump to form the air-fuel mixture. The mixture produced is then ignited by a glow plug, which starts the combustion process and heats the heat exchanger. The circulating pump is used to direct coolant, water or other heating fluid over the fins of the heat exchanger, thereby heating it.
These heaters are excellent products designed specifically forpreheating vehicle engines and compartments, preventing cold engine starts and providing passenger compartments with pleasantly warm air in cold temperatures. These heaters can also be used to heat central heating systems with radiators and boilers, as often found in motor homes, campers or boats/yachts.
All heaters are equipped with built-in fail-safe systems and sensors. The self-diagnostic system automatically shuts down the heater when a failure occurs (such as a dead battery, heater overheating, low fuel, air pump malfunction, or flame failure), making it a completely safe product.
Autoterm water level heaters are equipped with brushless induction motors that ensure low noise levels and long unit life, and can operate in extreme environments and temperatures as low as -45°C.
Autoterm liquid heaters can be controlled from the control panel or remotely from your iOS or Android smartphone (remote modem sold separately).
