With the Isotherm Smart Energy Control, Webasto offers a unique way to drastically reduce the energy consumption of cooling devices.
When the battery is charged by the dynamo (vehicle engine) or from an external 230 V power supply, the voltage increases. This generates an electrical energy surplus, which is used by the electronic board to run the compressor at maximum speed. As a result, the temperature inside the refrigerator drops, further cooling down the food and beverages and effectively using them as cold storage. As the temperature drops, the compressor gradually reduces the speed. Once the set temperature or the minimum temperature (1°C) is reached, the compressor maintains this temperature level at minimum speed and extremely low power consumption.
Special temperature sensor that continuously measures the internal temperature in the refrigerator. Processor-based module that
connects to the Danfoss / Secop 12 / 24 V compressor.
The kit can be easily retrofitted to increase the energy saving potential of your Isotherm DC 12 / 24 V Cruise Elegance refrigerator. The new Cruise Elegance refrigerators are already prepared for the installation of the kit by an installation location of the temperature sensor.
