Sikaflex-228 is a self-leveling, low viscosity, 1-component polyurethane adhesive that cures with atmospheric moisture to an elastomer.
Sikaflex-228 is suitable for:
a) Elastic, large-area bonding of panels made of, e.g. E.g. solvent-resistant foams (e.g. PUR), stainless steel, aluminum sheets, wood or gypsum boards.
b) For grouting seams and overlaps as well as rigid floor joints and gutters.
When used outdoors as a sealant, thin layers of Sikaflex-228 must be protected against sunlight (e.g. by cover strips, varnish, etc.).
