The freely configurable AEB MP48 OBD set is the further development of the established AEB2001N system. It is suitable for all 3-4 cylinder engines with sequential injection. The compactly designed control unit is easy to install, even where space is limited. During operation, the control unit measures the injection times as well as the gas pressure and uses this information to calculate the optimum metering time and quantity.
The MP48 is equipped with a diagnostic system for each gas component, the status of which can be monitored by the calibration software during installation of the system and at any point in the engine's life. This feature can prevent malfunctions and facilitates troubleshooting.
In addition, the calibration tool provides instructions to simplify system installation and adjustment.
