The GASLEVEL® gas level indicator with external display is specially designed to meet the needs of campers and caravan enthusiasts. Visually, the external reserve indicator for gas cylinders does not differ from its big brother", the GASLEVEL® Classic. However, the 6.5 cm high, 3 cm wide and 1.6 cm thick device is still equipped with a 3 metre long cable, which can be extended to 8 or 13 metres, and is thus connected to a remote indicator or display.
Thanks to two Neodyn magnets in the level sensor, it can be attached anywhere on the connected metal gas cylinder and remains there. The display with the LED indicator is mounted in a clearly visible position and is connected to the level sensor by the cable. As long as this is in the gas-filled area of the bottle, the display shows a gas bottle with a green LED light. As soon as the empty area is reached, the display lights up red.
In addition, the product can also be used as a level indicator, just like the GASLEVEL® Classic, if the sensor is operated directly on the gas bottle. The GASLEVEL® with external display thus combines two functions in one product.
Manufactured in modern production facilities in Iserlohn, Germany, the GASLEVEL® with external display complies with EU Directive EMC 2004/108/EC and is also approved for use in potentially explosive atmospheres (EX * II 3 G Ex nA IIA T3).
Gas bottle level indicator in use
Especially owners of caravans and motorhomes benefit from the GASLEVEL® gas level indicator with external display. Thanks to the display indicator, which can be mounted at a preferred location in the camper and is connected to the level sensor via the cable, campers always have the external reserve indicator in view.
Measuring the fill level of gas cylinders
First, decide on a suitable place to mount the display indicator and connect a 12-/24-volt cable. Then attach the sensor connected to the cable to the connected gas bottle in your gas bottle compartment and lay the cable from there to the LED display inside your caravan. The fill level of your gas bottle is then displayed there.
Ideally, you should place the fill level sensor as far down as possible on your gas bottle so that the LED display really only lights up red when a bottleneck is imminent. Make sure that the sensor is placed perpendicular to the bottle and lies flat against it.
